A deposit of JPY 40,000 apply to all boats. Deposits will be fully refunded upon confirmation of no damage at the time of return.
If you wish to charter boats prior to the dates set forth above, please inquire regarding availability. Boats will be available at JPY 5,000~15,000/day, subject to availability. 
Availability

Charter Boat Regulations

  1. A charter boat will be provided to a competitor who has requested completed the charter boat agreement/payment.

  2. The boat shall be checked when provided by a member of charter boat committee.

  3. In case of any damage to foil or parts including cleat and sheets during charter period, the borrower must repair or replace the damaged parts at his cost before returning the boat.

  4. Before closing this regatta the boat shall be returned as it was provided and be checked by a member of charter boat committee.

  5. Any modifications to the hull and equipment are not permitted.

  6. A competitor is required to use his/her own sail.

  7. A competitor may use his/her own equipment included in the followings:​ 

    1. Spars and foils

    2. Tiller extension, blade, blocks, ropes, sheets, wind indicator, a set of boom vang, a set of trapeze system(only “J” or “T” hook attachment can be used).

    3. A compass may be tied or taped to the hull or spars

    4. Other equipment, which will not make hole(s) /damage the charter boat or spars

  8. No request to redress can be made due to lack or damage of the charter boat and equipment, except that the protest committee admits the reason is valid.

  9. A competitor shall report to the organizing committee when the charter boat or equipment is lack or damaged.

  10. A damage deposit for a charter boat is 40,000JPY. If the boat or spars are not damaged, it will be fully returned after this regatta completed.

  11. Includes Third party insurance, delivered to Enoshima

Regulations

Payment of Charter Boat Fees 

Japan 470 Association  accepts charter fee payments by bank transfer only.

 

Payments by Bank Transfer should be made to the account specified on the invoice.​
All bank charges must be paid by the competitor.

A competitor is required to specify the remitter’s name on the “Payer Name” section of the Charter Boat Application Form.

Charter Boat Fees

Application Process

  1. Applicants should read  below Charter Boat Regulations before his/her application.Charter Boat Regulation shall be signed and handed in to the organizing authority at the time of boat delivery.

  2. Applicants will receive confirmation of availability and invoice in return based on the charter request.

  3. Upon receipt of invoice, please pay full charter fee, together with applicable bank charges and deposit within 2 weeks from the date of invoice.

  4. Boats will be secured on a first come first served basis, based on the date of the application form, subject to timely payment.

  5. Payment or proof of bank transfer must be received within 2 weeks from the issuance of invoice. Please note that the reservation will be automatically cancelled if we do not receive payment or proof of bank transfer with in 2 weeks from the date of invoice, so that the boat can be offered to the next person on waiting list
